Güglingen, May 30, 2023 – The Baden-Württemberg-based specialist for solar parks and solar investments hep appoints Olaf Timm as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of HEP Kapitalverwaltung AG effective May 1, 2023. Timm was most recently responsible for risk management at the listed PATRIZIA SE.

Further professionalization of risk management

As Chief Risk Officer, Olaf Timm will from now on head the risk management of the fully licensed capital management company. The hep group has been enabling both private and institutional investors to invest in the world’s largest solar markets since 2008. With a view to a stronger penetration of the institutional market, the company decided on Timm, who is experienced in both the German and the Luxembourg investment market.

For Timm, risk management in the interests of investors includes not only “the transparency of the risk environment required for optimal investment decisions”, but also the specification and monitoring of “guard rails within which both investment decisions and all other activities and areas of the company move”.

About Olaf Timm

Olaf Timm is looking forward to the challenges at solar specialist hep. As a studied oceanographer – a sub-discipline of climate science – Timm has now come full circle: With hep, he has the opportunity to drive the global energy transition.

As CRO, the Hamburg native draws on his many years of experience at PATRIZIA, the listed provider of real estate investments.
